Narrative reports, proposals, briefs, memos, and other text-led drafts are the strongest fit. Headings and ordinary paragraphs give the reviewer enough structure while keeping the textual change easy to inspect.
Elements that may be simplified
Complex layouts, tables, media, comments, links, footnotes, endnotes, references, and embedded objects may be simplified or reported. The current workflow prioritizes readable text and tracked textual changes over full visual fidelity.
- Open the imported draft and read any compatibility warnings.
- Keep a copy of the original layout-sensitive file.
- Inspect the exported DOCX in Word before delivery.
- Use bounded narrative sections when a document is unusually long or complex.
Current AI Review length boundary
The active draft must be 35,000 characters or fewer for AI Review. Longer material can be reviewed in sections, provided the reviewer preserves the context and consistency needed across the document.
Choose the handoff that matches the document
Use tracked DOCX when the next reviewer works in Word and needs visible insertions and deletions. Use Markdown export for text-first workflows where Markdown is already the working format.
