Privacy policy

Evertrail turns your own photos and optional GPX files into a journey on your device. Version 1.0 requires no Evertrail account and sends no personal data to an Evertrail server.

Version 1.0. Evertrail does not track you, sell data, use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, or collect data off your device.

Photos

If you grant access, Evertrail reads the dates and locations attached to the photos you allow and generates thumbnail previews so it can build a trip. Photos access is used only for journeys you choose to create and for saving exports when you request it.

Route data

You can optionally import a GPX file from Files. Evertrail uses that file only to improve or replace the photo-based route for the journey you are editing.

On-device work and retention

Journey projects are stored locally and map images and videos are rendered on-device. Project data remains until you delete the project or the app. Exports remain wherever you choose to save or share them.

Apple services, analytics, and tracking

Evertrail uses Apple frameworks including Photos and MapKit. Photos may download an item from your iCloud Photos library when you have chosen it, and MapKit may contact Apple to provide maps or directions. Those services are governed by Apple’s privacy policy; Evertrail does not receive their service data. Evertrail uses no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDK. Internal operating-system logs support local diagnostics and are not transmitted to Evertrail.

Your choices

  • You can limit or revoke Photos access in iPhone Settings.
  • GPX import is optional.
  • You can remove local Evertrail data by deleting projects or the app.
  • Saving or sharing an export happens only after you choose that action.
