Foldly is made for reviewing text on your own device. Here is how the app and this website handle information.

Your text in the app

Text comparison and PDF/DOCX text extraction happen locally on your Mac or iPad. Foldly does not upload your document text to a comparison service, and using the app does not require a Foldly account.

The app can retain editor content and preferences locally so you can return to your workspace. Files you open or save remain in the locations you choose. Any separate cloud drive or backup service you use is governed by that service’s settings and policies.

This website

The examples on this website run in your browser. They use sample text and do not send comparison text to a server. The site does not include analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or tracking cookies. Fonts and images are served from this site.

As with other websites, the hosting service may process standard request information, such as your IP address, the requested page, and the time of access, to deliver and operate the site.

The App Store and external links

Purchases and downloads are handled by Apple. Apple’s terms and privacy policy apply when you use the App Store. Links to other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices.

If you email info@vissee.ch, we receive the information you choose to include and use it to respond to your request. You can use the same address for privacy questions.
